There are several states around the country that have legalized medical marijuana. There are many studies that show medical marijuana can benefit several conditions. Marijuana can be used to treat problems such as alzheimer’s, epilepsy, seizures, glaucoma, and muscle spasms. Medical marijuana has also been proven to treat severe and chronic pain. Medical marijuana is a very safe alternative to some of the mood altering drugs and opioids. Medical marijuana comes in several different forms such as edibles, tinctures, dried flower, and inhalants. I suffer from terrible pain and inflammation due to having problems with rheumatoid arthritis. The problems with rheumatoid arthritis have been bothering me since I was in my early thirties. Sometimes I can’t even get out of bed or make it to the refrigerator because the pain is so bad. One thing that I found that can help a great deal is medical marijuana. When it was legal to talk to a doctor and get a prescription for medical marijuana, I planned to use marijuana as frequently as possible. The doctor was happy to give me a recommendation so I could apply for my card. The whole process took about a month, but now it is much easier to certify each year. I use products like dried marijuana flower and edibles every single day. Edibles are great for maintaining a low level of inflammation and marijuana flower takes away a lot of the pain that I would regularly feel each day. I can’t imagine stopping at this point, even if it was made illegal again. It works better than anything else that I have tried.
