A panic attack can feel like the world is ending. Panic attacks come from a sudden fear of doom that is uncontrollable. Panic attacks can be downright debilitating, especially for a person like me. I also suffer from PTSD and that causes severe panic attacks, anxiety, worry, and fear. I was on my way home from work the other day and it suddenly started raining. The rain caused me to have a panic attack. I do not like driving in the rain and I do my best to be home where it is safe and sound when it is raining. I would rather take the train or take an Uber to work then have to deal with the smallest amount of rain. I was in a terrible accident when I was younger and it was raining during the time. Ever since then, the rain makes me feel tense and worried. My doctor and therapist said those are signs of ptsd. Something that helps with PTSD is medical marijuana. I use a low dose medical marijuana product when I am going to be in situations that might trigger my ptsd. I did not have any medical marijuana with me when I was on my way home from work. When it started raining, I had a sudden panic attack and I had to pull over on the side of the road. I didn’t have any medical marijuana in the car, so I had to sit there and wait for my body to calm down. I couldn’t drive again until the rain was over.
