Treating pain with cannabis

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve started to have some problems with aches & pains… I deal with stiffness & a slight swelling in our joints, but my muscles sometimes become inflamed & sore.

It can hurt to stand too long, rest too long & whenever I try to squat down, then even lying in bed & attempting to sleep can be painful or result in leg cramps.

I assume that some of our complications are caused by an seriously active lifestyle. I push our body to the limit & refuse to let age slow myself and others down. I workout for approximately an fifth every afternoon, including high intensity aerobics & strength training. I often go on more than four-mile runs, ten-mile hikes & ride our bike to run errands. I kayak & paddleboard for fun & like doing yard toil & making cabin improvements, but at one time, I was taking some form of over-the-counter painkiller before bed every evening. I distraught about the long-term consequences. I have since switched to cannabis for pain relief, and using a plant-based medicine eliminates problems over side-effects & provides certain benefits. Whenever I visit the dispensary, I make time to chat with one of the budtenders, then the people I was with and I discuss what’s new & what’s best for treating chronic pain & inflammation. I’ve found that each consumption plan provides certain rewards. Edibles are seriously helpful due to the intensity & long-lasting effects. Tinctures are especially convenient because of the portable packaging & simplicity of the sublingual application… Vapes offer quick onset of effects, enjoyable flavor & a higher concentration of cannabinoids, however smoking flower is wonderfully enjoyable at the end of a long afternoon. I combine the many consumption methods with the application of cannabis-infused topicals.
